Cedarific Natural Cedar Chips Cat Litter Review

This litter is the best I've used. I hated clay--it stunk unless you scooped it right away and there were the awful dust clouds (who knows what that does to lungs?) We liked Nature's Earth Feline Pine - The Healthy Cat Litter (40-lb bag) because it absorbed odor extremely well; I didn't mind that it didn't clump because you couldn't smell the absorbed urine. We didn't even have to scoop daily for our little cat. Even after a week of not scooping, a visitor said he couldn't smell it! The main trick with Feline Pine was that you needed a special scoop that picked out the solid waste but let the pine pellets through. We actually filed down the bars on a wide slot scoop to make it work better. And of course, you needed patience to train your cat, but following package directions took care of that. We got used to it, and we were very happy, but had to go to certain stores to find it, and sometimes they were out. I looked into buying it online, but the pine pellets are heavy, and shipping was therefore exhorbitant.

When I didn't have time to go to the store that carried it, I found Cedarific in my favorite grocery. I thought it might work. I was astounded at how great it worked for me! It's lightweight, so it's easier carrying the bag in, pouring it into the litter box and bringing the box to the bathroom to scoop the solids. We have a large Booda Dome Dome, Cleanstep Cat Box, Iris and a small cat; we only need to scoop it once a week. I have it right under my PC desk--it smells great--even better than the pine pellets! We can use a normal fine slot scoop. But best of all, if my store stops carrying it, I can afford to have this seller on Amazon ship it at $.[...] a pound plus a few dollars for the per shipment rate, because it's light. The pine pellets lasted as well per volume, but they were much much heavier, so this lasts much better by weight.

I'm thinking of training my Maltese to use it--she hates to go out in the rain!

I guess I really didn't get a clear look at the picture when I ordered this toy, so I was a little set back when I opened the envelope to find a stick with a cloth ribbon glued to the end of it. But let me tell you--MY CAT LOVES IT! He's not really a playful kitty as a rule, but he's like a kitten with this thing. The wand (stick) makes the ribbon do this wiggly thing that just drives him nuts! I read some reviews that said their cats ate the ribbon, but my cat doesn't seem to be interested in eating it, just catching it and dragging it around the house.

I got this Stroller for my two yorkies. I want to be able to take them to Bark in the park, a local charity event, now they can go and if tired or scared they go in to their own private room. I also plan on taking them to the outdoor movies in the park this summer. I can zip them in and they can be safe from bugs and kids that would chase them and pet them too hard.
They loved it the minite they got in, they sniffed a little then layed down.
I picked this model for a couple reasons. First it has a support arm to hold the "basket" most other models are just cloth. Second it has two leashes in side so your dogs cant jump out. Three it has reflective stripes so I'm safe as well. The cup holders and bottom compartment are great bonuses. I cant speak for its durability because I havent had it very long but it has a year warranty. Its built very sturdy, the wheels are big and steer easly. the fabric is very strong, it looks like some kind of plastic or nylon canvas. It also has a pad inside that can be removed for washing. I wouldnt think twice about putting a child in side of this. oh and the best thing, I almost forgot. I ordered it on tuesday and it arrived thursday. It ships from wisconsin and I'm in st.louis, so I know everyone cant expect the same time frame but just to give you an idea.

I can now say that this is a sturdy dependable stroller absolutly. we went to bark in the park and had a great time, we saw other dogs in strollers and lots of people asked us where we got ours. it rolled smoothy over a gravel path, and even the grass. having the basket on the bottom to put all of the goodies we recived was nice as well. we have been on many more walks through our subdivision too, and I can report that this stroller is a GREAT BUY!!! one of my dogs has luxating patella and needs to rest, while the other can go and go and go, so she can have a rest and the other gets her excersize. when we get hoem they dont want to get out. they love it so much that when we went to bark in the park and got there pictures taken we just left them in the stroller and it turned out so cute.

Nu-Cat vitamin pills were recommended for my two cats, now sixteen years old, by my vet. My cats like to eat dry cat food. When I put the pills in the dry food, the pills disappear with the food. The pills are mostly eaten by one cat, Brownie, and only sometimes by her brother, Pi. It does certainly improve Brownie's fur.

This is much easier and safer than trying to give the cats liquid vitamins with a dropper. However, Pi gets the liquid vitamins. He gets Hi-Vite liquid vitamin drops. The drops do give him more energy, but are difficult to give to him. If your cat will eat the Nu-Cat tablets, I recommend them.

This one is a hard review to write because my cats love the food and I do think it is a top quality one, but I won't be buying it from Amazon again. Don't get me wrong, I have done business with Amazon for over 2 decades and the very few problems that have come up, have always been solved to my satisfaction. To order this product though you have to do business with Pet Food Direct and that is what I will not do again. I had a problem with this order and I talked to 3 different people at PFD, one of which was a supervisor, and none of them would help me. They were terrible to deal with and all I got from them was to send it back at my own expense when I got it and they would refund my purchase price minus the shipping. I then talked to customer service at Amazon, who never disappoints, and they made it right for me. When you talk to them, they really want to help you and are so friendly! NOT so at Pet Food Direct...at all! I wish Amazon would start selling this with the super saver shipping, but until they do I will be buying more by taking a drive to Petsmart. Sorry.

My husband and I purchased two of these carriers specifically for the purpose of transporting my 2 cats from Buenos Aires (Argentina) to CA. The four of us flew for a total of 15 hours, and the cats spent almost 22 hours inside them (even though I was able to let them sleep on my lap in terms during the long flight). I have to say that these carriers made such a stressful job sooooooo much easier. The product is SUPER strong and the materials excellent quality. They even resisted my cats' sudden "scratching attack episodes"!!! The "floor" is very sturdy, so that the cat won't feel like she's falling down. There was enough space for them to be comfy and lie down, and at the same time to fit under the plane's seat. I was also able to put their food bowl inside to feed them during the flight. And last but not least, the furry lining it comes with, kept my babies warm at ALL times (you can tell by touching the tips of their ears) even though the AC was pretty cold. We LOVED it, more than we expected. Makes absolutely NO sense to spend twice as much on other brands when this one couldn't be any better.

My cat, Haya-ji, has obsessive compulsive disorder. He used to chew his nails down to the quick obsessively, chew plastic mice to a pulp, and hide often. We have now discovered that chewing on this ring calms him down and is a positive thing for him to fixate on. Between this and some kitty anti-anxiety meds, he is feeling much better. His vet says he has incredibly clean and healthy teeth as a result, too.
One ring lasts about a month before he has completely demolished it, but keep in mind he is a VERY strong chewer.
The local stores all stopped carrying this item, so we have to have them sent to us in batches so he has his "fix" for a while.

The other three cats in the house couldn't care less about the ring, but it definitely struck a chord with my neurotic tabby. I'm very thankful that this product gives him a positive outlet for his stress. I just wish it were still sold locally.

So far, these are the favorite mice in our five-cat household.
