Aran 3 Double-Door Pet Carrier Review
I was a bit worried buying this for my shih tzu as this crate is advertised as a cat carrier and the other reviews talk only about cats, but I'm really glad I bought this for my dog. My shih tzu is 15 lbs, and 14.5" in length from the neck to the base of the tail (he's probably about 20" long including his head). He fits in this crate with room to spare! He can stand up without touching the top of the crate, turn around, and lay down however he wishes.
He absolutely loves using this carrier as his little den inside our home where he's safe from being bothered by the children. The many slits and double doors provide ample ventilation so I know he's getting plenty of fresh air and sunlight in there.
I don't use the double doors as much anymore now that he's an adult and walks into the carrier as he wishes, but when he was a puppy it was very useful putting him in the carrier without him being able to escape. Now I have taken the front door off so he can walk in and out all the time.
